Most projects fall under two main types of cover – combined project insurance and construction all risks insurance:

 

Combined project insurance

This type of cover combines all the conventional insurance policies for everyone involved in the project into a single policy with a single insurer, with the premium allocated between the parties involved by the project developer. Construction all risks insurance

For standard above-ground construction projects and straightforward modernisation and renovation works involving only moderate construction work, a construction all risks insurance policy is often the best solution. Depending on the client’s sector and the frequency of the construction work, this type of policy can also be established based on the investment sum.
